Class 55 'Deltic' - BR Blue w/Silver - 55013 - The Black Watch
DCC Sound Fitted

Complementing 55022 from the first run is York’s 55013 in its similar special livery with silver fuel tanks, grey roof, red bufferbeams and white-painted extras, which it retained until its withdrawal in October 1981. It was repainted for the 1980 Rainhill Event, but was replaced on the bill by Tulyar.

And now I have 4 Deltics

Could not resist adding another Deltic to my collection when the remaining ones were released, especially as I had some loyalty points to use also!
I really think these are excellent models and look so impressive.

This model make me love British prototypes even more!

I have not run this model yet, but after nearly two years of waiting, I am happy to have this model. I love its detail, especially the silver underbody as it's mostly something you don't see on British prototypes. Being from North America, I am mostly interested in HO Canada/USA prototypes, and this is one model that introduced me to the OO gauge.

Another great model from accurascale, but let down by the incorrect front end lighting.

Strong stuff.

The new v2 deltic are heavy and impressive beasts. Just like the original run of Deltics these are no doubt going to sell out quickly. Lovely detail as always. Good to see bogie chains are now part of the detail pack. Very impressed.

55013 - BR Blue w/Silver - DCC Sound Fitted?

Fantastic detail and the paint work perfectly done, sounds very good, and reasonably priced. Crawl speed very good. I'm afraid it has to go back to accuascale it has one wheel set that is a bit wobbly , but all good accuascale will sort it.
