Another great Deltic model from Accurascale. The unpainted windscreen surrounds accurately replicate 55004’s appearance. The shape of the 55’s is well replicated. Easy to fit bufferbeam piping tops off the general high level of detailing. The models have received a good finish & all is securely packaged in impressive boxes. Roll on batch 3 !
Great model of diesel crew, but as of yet my class 31 has not been delivered, so cannot fit the crew, fingers crossed it will show up soon!
Purchased the decoder during the festive period, not only was it fulfilled but dispatched and received in two working days, phenomenal work.

This is my first deltic, so went with the sound version and man it didn't dissapoint, everything about this loco is just class ,from the livery to the packaging to the sound, it's that good.👍

These are fantastic sounding speakers
Background on this is some people had issues with sound models. It was apparently tracked back to using 4ohm speakers instead of 8. I don't know the technicalities of it, and I personally haven't had any issues, but I opted to buy replacements for my sound fitted 37s "to be sure". I will easily be able to re-use the 8ohm speakers elsewhere.
The level of detail is superb. Love it :)
It's rare to just need one coach, so getting a discount for buying several is just another plus to an already great range.
One thing that makes Accurascale stand out above the "larger players" is the selection of running numbers. You can make up a complete train without duplication.

Wow!! I love DCC when it goes well, fitted the sound decoder exactly the same way on previous locos and amazingly this time it all works brilliantly on my NCE PowerCab. However, lessons learnt from my previous attempts of upgrading to DCC, future purchases will be DCC factory fitted.

Looks, sounds and runs just as good as the first batch of Deltics, and so far the changes made to improve rigidity of detailing items have meant I haven’t needed to re-attach anything yet!
Simple enough to fit, although the rails on the first couple of pieces of track I tried were about half a millimetre too wide. These buffer stops are small and fragile, but definitely look the part. Perhaps a tad too bright - half the station area is brightly illuminated in red now. Would buy again (except I have only 1 bay platform).
A little awkward to fit, trying to hold the speaker in place and hold all the wires inside the loco out of the way while fitting the clips in place, but they do the job they were designed to do very well.
Great sound, easy installation
Having acquired a secondhand Accurascale 97301 that was DCC ready, I wanted to add sound. This speaker was the obvious solution. Installation could not have been simpler with the lift-off roof panel, although routing the multitude of wires around the speaker inside the loco was awkward with my large fingers. Worked first time though, and sounds great.

Worked first time, and sounds great. Volume seems lower than other factory-fitted Accurascale class 37s I have, but probably just needs a CV adjustment.
Really great detail, realistic, good value and accurate. Modern bus and model is reflection of real frontline Expressway bus.

Excellent loco only let down by the permanently "on" marker light error. Has a fix been announced or is it a case of covering the offending led's?
Accurascale crew members superb fit in their Cl 55 Deltic which is the most incredible model ever made no wonder Accurascale sell out within days, Welldone, Just one thing please please can we have a Cl 45/46 Thankyou.
